Swapping W164 rear solid rotors for Vented

Wear showing time to change pads and rotors.
Can you change the solid rear rotors to vented if you change the pads and parking brake shoes? I only see 1 caliper for both solid and vented?

It's a 2006 ML500 with air suspension

found a set of slotted that retro fit.
