2001 ML 320 oil coming out of tail pipe!!!!!

I am getting straight oil out of my tailpipe, you can stick your finger in the exhaust pipe and come out with a finger of oil. The car only has 130k, starts fine runs fine, but every once in a while all of a sudden it will smoke going down the road like you have never seen, YOU CAN'T SEE THE CARS BEHIND YOU! Its that bad, then will quit and go back to normal. I had the oil changed 300 miles ago and I just had to add 2 qrts. What could this be? It looks to me if it was piston rings or valve stem seals it would smoke all the time. All help is appreciated.

Try checking pcv system out.Migth be sucking oil thru it.You know like a bad pcv valve.

Remove one of the valve covers and check to see if the oil return bores in the head are clogged.

easy check look down throttle body for oil.If no oil,you have problems

pulled the full load crankcase vent hose off just now with the air tube that connects to the throttle body off. It had oil in it, and you can see where that vent hose hooks up to it that oil has been running out of it into the air tube. My next question is the oil returns must be clogged sending the oil up and out of the crankcase vent hoses, can I manually clean the oil returns in the head when I get the valve covers off or is it something that the head has to be pulled to do? Thanks for all the help

I have both valve covers off now and it looks to me that only the drivers side crankcase ventilation hoses have had oil in them. They are coated with oil, the passenger side isn't. I am having trouble finding where exactly the oil return bores are in the cylinder head?

Is there oil in the pcv hoses? If so.Look up to see if engine has a pcv valve.Oil bore are big holes in the head.Have someone start car real fast and turn off,so you can see where oil drains.I looked up,no pcv valve.

Still alittle unsure of myself on what I need to do but I removed both valve covers which the heads have alot of sludge and build up in them, I picked all kinds of junk out of the holes where the head bolts are. I am not sure on the location of the oil drain bores inside the heads.....? From what I see if I could find them they should definitely be stopped up....The oil is being pushed out thru my crankcase ventilation hoes and into my throttle body. I am not sure what areas to check other than something in the head being stopped up. How do I check for proper crankcase ventilation? I bought all new crankcase vent hoses but I don't see how simply replacing the hoses will fix the problem. Seeing how it looks to me that oil will just enter the new hoses and I will be in the same boat but with new hoses this time.
