Hello, hope someone can offer me some advice on a problem that I can not seem to fix neither can Mercedes!
Mercedes sprinter 318 2007,
Since I have owned this van I have had to get 1 Injector renewed, new heater plugs and control unit, new fuel filter, diesel cleaner.
All of this was recommended by my local Mercedes dealer to try and fix the ongoing problem of.....
- bad starter in morning on cold day as well as a warm day ( engine turns over for about 5 seconds before eventually firing up.)
- during normal driving engine note will all of a sudden go lower and the engine will run a lot quicker than I feel it should, when this happens I am getting medium amounts of blue smoke through exhaust. Averaging 320 miles to a full tank
