ML500 Jammed CD Changer Magazine
 

About a week ago my CD Changer stopped working, the head unit says there's no changer connected. When I went to check out the changer I found that the disc magazine is jammed in the unit. The unit has power and tries to eject the magazine but it won't budge. I can see that one of the slots is still loaded in the changer.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? I know that the CD changer in these vehicles isn't the most reliable and does seem to have lots of issues so it's no big surprise that this happened, I'd just like to get the discs I have in the magazine back at least.

Loose power cable inside the change. Open it up and get to work!

I opened it up, unjammed the magazine and took it out, then reconnected the changer and its now working. Time will tell for how long though...
