Change coolant-ML-320

The new anti-freeze is blue and concerns have been raised such that I wanted to flush out all the old yellow stuff. Drains are located in absurdly inconvenient places. Put a Prestone backflush fitting in the heater hose near the transmission dipstick location and hooked up the garden hose. Popped the lower radiator hose and slipped it back on with a 1/4" Allen wrench alongside establishing a drain. Removed the reservoir cap and opened garden hose to fill the system, then backed off to a trickle. Replaced cap. Started the truck and let it warm up so as to open the thermostat (also, heater full on). Opened garden hose further but not enough to cool running engine or blow off lower hose. Let it run for 15 minutes and checked water leaking out alongside Allen wrench with my old colored ball antifreeze checker but all the yellow stuff had been dilulted away. Shut it down, removed lower radiator hose. Removed upper hose at radiator and blew through it and the block like a trombone to make sure I was going to have enough room for a gallon and a half of the new blue product-which I did.
