Hello,

I have a 2000 ML320, and wanted clear corners but all the stores around here didnt offer it for my ML. A few weeks ago I took the head lamps out, separated the silicone and I carefully cracked off all of the yellow plastic piece (reflector?). Then I sealed the head lamps up and screwed it back on my car. I was very happy of the turn out, but when I turned on the lights it was an icky light yellowish color. I then went to Pepboys to see what type of light bulbs they had. I told the guy I wanted signal lights that are bright white or anything non dull white and I then gave him the make/model/yr. Unfortunantly I dont have the receipt or the packaging, and I dont remember what light bulb part number I purchased. This past weekend I put the bulbs in, turn on my lights and they didnt light up, but when I went to signal its bright and works perfectly. My question is I dont know what lights to buy so when I turn on my lights at night the side lights will light up w/a nice clear white and either stay the same clear white while I signal or even go brighter is fine with me.

Another question is, I dont know what it is called exactly but the side markers/blinkers? Its right above and a bit behind the front tires, how do I pop off that lens and replace the bulb to make it a clear white instead of a orange color when I signal?

All turn signals must be in amber color either through using amber bulb or amber lens. Otherwise it is illegal.

Take one of the original orange turn signal bulbs back to pepboys and just tell them you want a clear bulb like this, not amber. I think they gave you the wrong type of bulb.
On the small side light on the fender, I believe the inner fender well has to be loosened up so you can get your arm behind there to remove the bulb.
