Michelin CrossTerrain SUV tires
Replaced the Dunlop GrandTreks this week with the Michelins. Just wanted to let you guys know that these tires are much nicer than the GrandTreks. Quieter for certain. Haven't had them long enough to report on wet traction, but can tell you that they don't push through the turns like the old ones did.
If I had been wise, I would have bought the GrandTreks when we first got the car. They were at TireRack for $58 each (now $95). I just paid close to $150 each for the Michelins. Since I was only able to get 25k miles out of the Dunlops, I figured that the price was probably comparable since the Dunlop has a tread wear rating of 300 and the Michelin is 520. |
