my step father (billybob) and i went to NY a few months ago to pick somthing up and as we came around a turn in the road we saw about 20 Umimogs in this small grassy area and immediately pulled over and took a few pic's. the next day in school i was telling this story to a friend and all of a sudden he laughed and said, " Unimog???? what kind of truck is that??" so i started to explain it to him but he wouldn't listen. then he said " i bet you that there is no truck named Unimog!" so i told him to go to this site and see for him self, so now he thinks that Unimogs were only made like 50 years ago and that they were an independent company.

so if any one can find the history of Unimogs in relation to Mercedes it is very much appreciated
