New (to us) ML350 Bluetec

Hi all, Wife and I went with a friend yesterday for moral support while she bought a 2014 VW TDI. Anyway wife saw a beautiful 2012 ML350 Bluetec with only 41, 500 miles on it, and long story short, it is in our driveway as I speak.

Actually it looks right at home parked next to the 1983 300D and Jetta TDI.

According to the trip computer we got 30 MPG on the 150 mile drive home. It drives fantastic, and that V6 diesel has gobs of torque!! The car has been very well cared for, has documented service, and according to the dealer it was traded in by an older retired couple (which probably explains the low miles).

So, wife is happy, I got her out of her Santa Fe (nice car but not a Benz) and into a solid Benz so I am happy, so we shall see how the story plays out.

Would you buy the Santa Fe again?

Bought my daughter a ML320 years ago and it has been a treasure. Wish I had one.

Yes, I would buy the Santa Fe again, it was a nice car and we had no plans to get rid of it.....never had an issue with it, the wife just fell in love with the Benz, and I tried to get her into a Benz before she got the Santa Fe, so.......guess we came around full circle so to speak. Plus she traded in a VW Passat TDI (on the Dieselgate buyback) before she got the Santa Fe and has been longing for another diesel......
