Went thru the same issue.Found ignition key cylinder sticking not going to completely lock.Sprayed lube into the springs now works.If you take off all the trim expose the cylinder you will see what I mean.If you broke the steering lock I bought one and never used it because I figured out the issue.Mercedes wanted to do the same thing to mine.You will see the steering wheel will lock if you move the key cylinder it’s sticking I’ll bet.Check my posts need help let me know.
