I did read about this vehicle on the web, if I can find the link I will post it since it had a very interesting history. I think the truck was pretty well a "one of" purposely designed just to haul the 300 to the race track. The truck was capable of obtaining some impressive top end speed especially considering it's size and weight.

The top speed of the vehicle is 105mph and yes this vehicle is a one off,built specially back in the 50's to tranport the 300 SLR racing car for MB.
