wheel upgrade for 1999 ml 320
 
i just got a set of rims from a 2002 ml-320 that are 17 inches, what tires do you guys thing would give good ride/ performance, i dont go offroad but do live in new york and get snow.the stock wheels are 16", with general grabbers

I have Michelin Cross Terrains and highly recommed. They are better in the wet and in snow than my orginal Dunlops. Dunlops lasted 50K miles and Michelins have nearly 37K miles on them with about 50% of tread remaining.

I agree, I've got them on my ML430 which has 17 inch wheels. Don't have as many miles as Ron, but I'm sure they will before long. :D

Put whaterver tires you want on your 17" wheels, but save your 16 inchers and put a good set of snow tires on them. Here in Western Michigan it's been snowing constantly for two weeks, and I'm very glad I made the investment. I have Bridgestone Winter Duelers and in the snow, they stop and turn much better than any all-season tire.

We just put some new tires on my ML. Pirelli Scorpion Zero. Freaking AMAZING tires and they are excellent in the show:
