NAV on my old ML320
 

Hello.
I have a 98 ML320 that come with a navigation system installed, it have the main unit under the passenger seat and on top of the dash a display like this one:

Unfortunately this part was stolen from my car, they only took the part on top of the dash and break the cable when pulled out, now I wonder if any of you know where I can find this part or if it is possible to install a newest one like the one below. I know will work with my CD changer, but I’m not sure if this one will work with my existing NAV drive. I know I can install a whole new system but I want to keep the parts that I already have (NAV drive under seat, antenna and cables) and just add the display (might need to add adapters).

I'm sure MB can still order parts so you can fix the existing system. That's as far as I would go with it.......

PS when dealing with a parts dept on this, just refer to it as the "pod-type nav system like that had before MCS"
