Nope. Just Origional Equiptment for me - regarding plugs.

Could you please tell me if this is the OEM part:

The dealer wanted $500 to the job; it took me 2.5 hours at a leisure pace and about $200 in parts. $70 of the parts was for the combinaton open/closed end 45 degree offset 17mm wrench; had to special order that one and it made easy work of the plug boot removal just as told on this forum. I found no reason to remove the tire or inner well, it was a pretty straight forward job.
The sage advice I received from this sight was to wear gloves as the stainless steel heat sheild will cut your hands to shreds....very, very, very good advice...the damage to the gloves told the story. -Kevin |
