OBD11 Code po460?

What does OBD code P0 460 "fuel level sensor circuit malfunction" mean?

It is a 98 ml320 with 63,000 miles

The codes p0170 and p0173 show up as well, but I understand this mean my MAS needs replaced.

I can not find any info on P0 460.

Thanks for yuur help,

Augusta

2000 Mercury Mystique Problem

I have a problem with the code po460, in a 2000 Mercury Mystique L4-122 2.0L DOHC VIN 3 SFI. At this time the fuel pump was replaced because it was no good but the code was stored in the pcm before fixed. After I fixed the problem, I cleared the code. The problem now is that the car is back with the same code again and the fuel pump was bought from the dealer.
I think the problem maybe the fuel pump control module but im not sure because I dont have the voltage references and diagrams for this module. If the module is good, do you know of any other parts that could be causing the same problem? Thank you for your time in reading this e-mail.

Sincerly,
edsalgrami

Have your pump and filter been updated to the newer style?

THAT means that the fuel tank sending unit is defective OR that the wiring from the cluster to that unit is bad!
