diesel emissions stations?
Anyone have any good reviews on places where they got their diesel emissions tested? Came as quite a shock to me that I have to do this! guess Im glad I kept the EGR equipment!

Well, the DMV recommended Hassell's garage in east providence for diesel cars, which worked out great. FYI, it turns out that emissions testing may or may not be required (I guess the state inspection computer says when you put in the vehicle info) but if it is required, and the car is over 25 years, it can technically fail emissions and still get an inspection sticker since the emissions are not a deciding factor.
Evidently, from what the inspection guy was saying, it has more to do with the state tracking soot information on specific models than with actually forcing someone to make an old diesel compliant. Ultimately, they did not test my car
