new fastlane sucks!!!!!!!!!

I have been ordering parts from phil and fastlane online for years now, NEVER a problem and very smooth and of corse FAST,
whats with the new set up for the fastlane, ? it doesnt tell the shipping prices or tell me if the order went through, ?? it wants CC numbers before totals?? I dont like this checkout at all !!! and most likly to go back to the MB dealership for parts now on... what a bummer....

any other ppl dislike the new fastlane steup too??

Haven't seen it yet. But maybe send a friendly note of complaint to Phil. He's a good egg, and wants happy customers.

I haven't purchased anything since the new setup came out, but I have done some browsing...and either it's my imagination or quite a few items that used to be in stock are no longer available.

I also miss the separate window that would come up with the parts lists...

I placed orders just before and after the new system. Though there was a couple of small glitches, Phil & crew were very responsive. As most of us know, changes of system applications carry with them some rough spots. After all this time of great service, I would think we should be able to help FastLane get through their application transition. Just my op.

I gave up on the web site a long time ago and started calling to order because the old site didn't have much for my W210. Phil says they're still loading parts into the new system so it isn't complete yet. If you have complaints, you should send them to Phil and I'm sure he'll work on it.

I always call phil, because it's good to talk to my good buddy on the phone.

Correct, PartsShop and FastLane have merged into one entity.

The first couple days on the new software seemed to be a bit buggy, now it is working good. I don't think I found any parts that didn't have a picture...yet. Of course I still have to start a new account, again, but a small price to pay for the improvement.

Now having had the opportunity to make a couple purchases using the new FastLane program...it works good. Checking the cart gives you a breakdown of what the bill will be before checkout...giving you plenty of time to find one more piece to put you over the $100 mark for free shipping (no idea how long that special will run, but it sure saves some coin when buying something heavy like a starter).
