Computer question

I have an OKI-page 10E printer and I am getting an eror message upon printing. It says "HEAVY ERROR" then gives a 6 digit code. What the heck does that mean????

I called the number and the phone just rang & rang.

The message says HEAVY ERROR 10010200

Make sure you have toner cartridge inserted snugly, check for paper jams etc. After that, your on your own. It will have to be sent to the factory or to a local factory service center for service, because there is no record of that error code anywhere that I can find. You might check the manual that came with the printer. Usually things like "heavy error" are chip level errors. The error is worded oddly because some Chinese guy hard coded it into the chipset. I've seen motherboard errors that now say "That is not a bootable diskette please" instead of the old American standby "Non-system disk or disk error". Globalization rears its ugly head.

The printer either has too much TLJ or not enough TLJ. The proper TLJ/JLT ratio can be very difficult to achieve on these OKI units.
