Any Trekkies here?

You won't believe your eyes: Star Trek Apartment. Real Trekkies will start bidding immediately! :D

I love the series, have almost every episode, move, models of several ships, blue prints of others (signed by GR), even signed memorabilia, but never for a minute did I want my home to be a trek set...

Still, it is a very nice job

Yes, I enjoy the series also (although I was only lukewarm about Voyager), but that's about where it ends for me. I am absolutely amazed by both the level of detail and the depth of the obsession required to create this apartment.

I am thoroughly impressed with this guys attention to detail.

I loved all the Star Trek series, and have often wondered what it would be like if such levels of technology and space travel really existed.

However, when it does come down to my place of residence, I'd rather prefer designs more complimentary to nature.

I'm more of a Star Wars man myself... :)

Voyager was a woman’s story. As such, it was a departure from the legacy. Later in the series, in the 7 of 9 era, the writing was really top notch. I'm working my way through the series a couple of shows a week. Haven't seen them for a couple of years. OTOH, I never fully liked DS9. Thought it was overly plodding (story lines, that is), but there were still a lot of really good episodes within.

The shipping on that thing is going to be a bi*ch!

Yes, I knew a few folks that weren't fond of DS9, but I liked the show, especially after Worf came on board. For me, it was mostly about the characters. TNG is far above the others in that regard, but I just didn't care much for the characters and their interaction in Voyager. IMHO, DS9 had a similar problem, though not as severe, but it was remedied to a large degree by theb addition Worf. Obviously, this is all just subjective. BTW, another show of that genre that I liked even more than Star Trek was Babylon 5. I have every episode in order on tape. Very different from Trek, Babylon 5 was essentially a 110 hour novel for television.

The funny thing about Worf and DS9 was that his uniqueness, his identity kind of disappeared when he started on the show. On TNG his warrior nature, aloofness, and sometimes antagonistic tendencies set him apart. On DS9 since everyone was like that, he became kind of.....bland. But at least he got a lot more dialog. Another funny thing was that him and Miles never talked about life on the Enterprise....
