Bought a stereo system!
http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.jsp?oid=64934&WT.mc_n=34&c=1&b=g&u=c&WT.mc_t=U
Small, tons of outputs, ample power, good speakers, separate speaker and cd change. Sounds great. Perfect for my dorm. Should be a 400-500 dollar system.... I payed 200. |

We have this unit in the family room, and are very pleased with it's ability to handle classical music.
You paid a very low price and I expect you will enjoy it. Mark |

I wish these compact systems were out when I was in college.
In MY day, if you wanted to keep tunes in your dorm, you had three choices... ...a boom box (not nearly as sophisticated as the ones out today), ...the cheapo all-in-one hi-fi's (the fact that the whole system weighed less than 20 pounds was an indication of the quality components inside) ...and the full-sized components, which took ALL of the available room in your Chevette, so you couldn't pack essentials like clothes and books! :p
