Are all Nigerians criminals or just the ones with computers?

...from the U of N website:

Statistical Psychology 200 ( CRN: 69735 )
Research has proven that .001 percent of the world population is completely stupid, ignorant to the world around them, and will believe anything.

-------------------
Personally I think their percentage is way off. Experience tells me it is closer to .1% (although some days it seems like 10%)

Actually a lot of the scams come from other countries, specifically Russia, and use the Nigerian name. Apparently Nigeria's history of unstable governments coupled with oil money makes a very tasty backdrop to reel in suckers, so the scam artist use it a lot.

I wasn't just referring to the stupid email scams -- these folks are hip deep in credit card fraud as well.

John,

You obviously have not taken Macro 101. The same mass email principles would apply here as well. Posting on one forum at a time is a waste of your time. You should take that course. Learn how to crosspost to millions of forums at once!

Here is a picture that a scam baiter took of a Nigerian scammer in the UK, but check out the car in the background.
