Personally I think their percentage is way off. Experience tells me it is closer to .1% (although some days it seems like 10%)

Actually a lot of the scams come from other countries, specifically Russia, and use the Nigerian name. Apparently Nigeria's history of unstable governments coupled with oil money makes a very tasty backdrop to reel in suckers, so the scam artist use it a lot.

I wasn't just referring to the stupid email scams -- these folks are hip deep in credit card fraud as well.

Their are a lot of suckers out their, if they real one in good for them.
