Ugh, if I wanted to read posts by a bunch of people desperately trying to convince themselves and eachother how brilliant they are, I'd go join the wankfest that is dailykos.

"The original aims were, as they are today, to create a society that is non-political and free from all racial or religious distinctions."
******** Not sure that would work here... |

Member since '96, and in no need of convincing how brilliant I am
Really, that's not what it's all about. There are just certain topics of discussion I would love to entertain, but the average person at the bar has little or no interest/knowledge on the subject. |

Did anyone see an episode of Nova years ago titled "Last Journey of a Genius"? It was about American physicist Richard Feynman, and was one of the most entertaining things I've ever seen on the small screen. Highly, highly recommended.

There's an art to taking those tests. Some companies make you take such a test as part of the interview process. I used to have gobs of these books. I bet anyone with average intelligence and similiar cultural upbringing can be trained to do better at these test by at least 20%.
