Overrated Italian trash. Does not impress me. Everyone I have ever known who bought a ferrari hated it. Some said it was the worst car they had ever owned.

Thanks for your opinion, but the thread is about the pictures.

Yes, I drove a 1967 Fiat 124 Spyder given to me by my Dad with about 85,000 miles to Alaska in 1973 with a buddy. In February. Made it but it cost me a valve job when the cogged belt shed some teeth in the minus 45 degrees Fahrenheit cold that greeted us in Whitehorse one morning. My wife had one too, before we got married. I thought they were great little sports cars for their time. Saw a really nice one this Fall near San Francisco at a British car meet. The one in the photo looks to be in very good shape.

Nice photos. While I will never afford one, I have visited the dealerships in a few cities to drool. The one near Sausalito is an especially nice dealership, lots of cars and very warm sales guys. Jim

Sorry to hijack this thread. My 1967, and my wife's 1970 or so were both 5 speed manual transmission versions. Mine was from Germany, and had a 1.4 liter engine. The one my wife had was a 1.6 liter version, I believe. Mine got pretty rusty, but it was pretty good structurally when I donated it to the local highschool. I got a ride in it a year or so later from the kid who restored it. He did a great job on the body and on the mechanicals.

I bought some closed cell foam, about a half inch thick, and fit it between the canvass roofing and the support bars. While the top would not go down with this stuff in there, it dropped the noise level tremendously and kept the inside warmer. That car had a great heater though. In college in Troy, NY I would drive around in the winter with the top down and windows rolled up, with the heat aimed at floor, full blast. It was great! I could put the top up or down from the driver's seat in about 15 seconds.

I drove about 75 people to the polls to vote in 1972 in that car, giving some of the older ladies a real thrill to drive in sports car. Great memories. Jim
