Boxing fans....
PBS will air a 2 hour special tonite on the flamboayan and turbulent life of the first black heavyweight, Jack Johnson.
The guys skills as boxer were amazing to be sure, but what interests me was his desire to snub his nose at the establishment by among other things, dating and marrying white woman with no apologies. And in fact flaunting it. Keep in mind this was in 1903. Check it out.
