I am required to attend a family reunion of sorts for the lady in my life this coming week... in Panama City Fla.

Anybody know of a local joint in/around Pensacola that would hook us up with an interesting rental car (diesel 300 series probably too much to hope for...)? Trying to avoid driving a Kia from one of the rental rip-off joints.

Alternately, anyone local to the redneck riviera wish to entrust their lovely vehicle to my expert piloting for ~$300 for the week? Might buy you some euro lenses...

Dream come true= you've got an SL sitting in your garage needing some highway time.

Pipe dream, I know... but I don't know exactly what I'm going to do down there besides watch everyone sweat. Would be nice to cruise the coast in a proper automobile.

In lieu of offers of car-borrowing, I'll accept advice on what to see/do in/around Panama City Beach. (I've got swim with dolphins covered, and MedMech apparently really liked a strip club there)

Good luck with that at the Pensacola airport. Maybe something in Destin, but I don't recall seeing anything. Too bad you aren't going to Ft. Lauderdale--you can rent whatever you want if you are willing to pay for it--Ferraris, Lambos, Bently, ect.....
