For or Against clean air

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/812307688?z00m=20436&z00m=20436&ltl=1106382747

According to that, it sounds like its CARB. Are you with the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers or against them?

Oh, I'm completely against clean air. In fact, I think it would be a great thing if we all suffocated on toxic fumes very soon. Doesn't everyone feel this way?

The exhaust fumes from Mercedes be it gas or diesel smell goooood. But the polution comes from all the factories who release their toxic fumes at night, maybe we should stop production in factories and save the world and not put more restrictions on our HP.

We must all have faith

I believe that our future scientists will come up with a way to get rid of the crap I, for one, am putting into the air:

Soot >> from my diesel.
Lead >> from the tetraethyl lead I mix into fuel for my gassers and bikes.
THC >> from uh, never mind this one.
Second hand smoke >> from my cigars.
Methane >> from beer farts.

What part are you doing?

There's tons more pollution from factories and vulcano's that dwarf our vehicle polution last time I checked. I'm not for tighter government regulation in general. Need to think more on this oneand get back to ya.

i'm not sure we need air after all. is it possible that we only think we need air because we know nothing else?

i'm suggesting that jmak124 prove to us that we need this "air" stuff. perhaps he/she could immerse him/herself and fill his/her lungs with other substances, starting with water, so we can see that air is really necesary for us to live.

if it is, then we should be concerned. science, ladies and gentlemen, makes no unsubstantiated conclusions. we must first know what is first to know...

Even back when I smoked cigarettes, I was always careful to buy only the packages that warned of birth defects, never the ones warning of cancer risks. I mean, if you had your pick between the two......

I am also a strong advocate of keeping kids from using drugs. If for no other good reason, it drives the prices up.

Some years ago I had the dis-pleasure to dine with a number of CARB people.
After listening to their opinions, twisted ideas & super-large egos, for about 3 hours, I just HAD TO step outside for a good puke.
Clean air is nothing more than a sideline for these egomaniacs.
The reason they work for CARB is, they are not capable of getting a real job!

I read a report a decade or so ago (and wish I had a reference) about a laboratory mouse breathing some liquid with a rather high oxygen content. While I doubt that it was plain water, perhaps you're on to something here.
