Site picture upload question......
I have been trying to post a file attatchment over in SL, and have had no luck.
I just bought a new Canon S1 IS, and this is my first really nice digital camera and offers an infinite variety of possibilities the old one just couldn't dream of! Anyway, I discovered that I had been trying to upload 2048 X 1536 resolution and didn't realize I should have set the resolution to 640 X 480 At 640 X 480, I still get a message that my attatchment is still too large, although not as large as before, it is still too large. I have sent attatchments through email and to another forum website successfully. What can I do to post some pics here at MBshop??? BB |

Use a photo manipulator program, such as Imaging that is bundled with Windows, and cut the inches size down until the saved file has less than 64 kb.
Say you start with a 8x10, try 3x5 and see what happens. It's trial and error. Best Regards, Jim |

If you use photoshop, you can use the "save for web" option and you can change the quality or size of the image and it will show you exactly what size the final file will be. So if you have PS set it below 64kb and it should be good to go.
