Question want zero emissions LCD screen...Where to find?

I'm told that there are zero emissions LCD screens, monitors, available but haven't found such a thing searching the web!

I'm also told they are quite expensive, but so isn't cancer!

I spend too much time in front of this old 15" screen, a couple of feet away at best.

Does anyone know anything about these zero emissions monitors, and where I can look to find one?

BB.....................

Anything in the universe that emits light cannot be "emission free" or "zero emissions." LCDs are lower power than CRTs and do not generate x-rays since they do not have the power transformers needed to drive tube displays.

Or maybe they don't want you to know!

Seems cancer is rampent lately, and from a great many sources. Pharmaceutical companies have never been so big and with a powerful influance in lobbying power!

There has never been more electro magnetic radiation encompassing the earth than now!

Yes I'm concerned! I stopped using a cell phone because I don't believe what we are being sold on (that they are safe) is the truth!

While I don't buy, believe, everthing we're told, I'll always remain a skeptic! It's just the way I am.

Anyway, I'm going to look deeper to find out why there seems to be available screens that produce less emissions, I know I said zero, but that was what I was told, but they probably overstated a bit.

If there is such a thing, it might suggest an alternative! So why is there an alternative, and to what......greater emissions? I'll want to research this more to find out if in fact current LCD's may be harmful!

You are concerned about emissions... what emissions? X rays? Magnetic fields emitted by current flowing through internal circuitries? There are also 3 types of emissions that ocurrs from radiating body. Electromagnetic fields that are induced, electromagnetic fields that are radiated, and electrostatic fields. They are all electromagnetic emissions but are of different characteristics and will impact human body differently. Also, they dissipate at different rates. First is cube of the distance, second is square of the distance, and the third is the distance. Then at what wavelength? X rays and 60Hz are both electromagnetic energy but with different frequencies. They impact human body differently. Heck, the light wave is an EMF (electromagnetic field)....

In LCD monitors, the only part that can generate appreciable amount of field energy is perhaps the power supply for the backlight. They often use EL plate and they require 50 volts or higher. Everything else is pretty much 5 volts or 12 volts driven.

Oh, by the way, you have wires runnining all around you in the house, motors running in the A/C units, and the PC itself will produce EMF. These days, they are mostly made of plastic and not at all well-shielded.

I really have to get more involved with understanding because there are strong suggestions to the contrary. I don't doubt what you are saying and do appreciate your input.

While LCD monitors are a long way from the USAF PAVEPAWS installations, (now world wide) which are sourced from a different level of electromagnetics, they are none the less very similar. Are you also as supportive of the USAF similar claims of "no harmful emissions" radiated from these installations, because there is a lot of evidence that shows a very different picture that has been, and continues to be, suppressed by the USAF.

If anyone is interested, I'll pull myself away and make the time to archive and post this stuff, and might even be visited by the men dressed in black for posting it too!

One thing can be for sure, people in general do not except change! Modern electronic devises have greatly impacted they way we live today. Many people are unwilling to except these changes and post fault where they can in order to justify their feelings.

While there may be credibility, I agree one must do the research before making an ass of themselves!

Personally, I just want to live as long as I'm expected to live a life! I have a sister with MS, a brother, and several people I know, with cancer, two parents, an aunt and uncle with Alzheimers! So you may understand I need to understand what's gone wrong, and why?

So far. I've stayed immune, but need to understand more.
