Wendy's vs Ayala

Wendy's has doubled their reward for info on the chili finger to a hundred large.

Ayala has dropped her lawyer and her case.

I hope Wendy's continues playing hard with this bs. There's a lot of smoke here; just gotta find the fire.

I bet she's on her way to jail.....

Its a REAL finger.. right? How the heck can you find a real human finger and not find out who's it is. Dropping the case is very fishy... especially from a person who has sewed before for less gross and outrageous things. That right there made me suspicious of this whole case.

With that fishy customer I think they should charge her for something.....shes got a history of atempted extortion and if she got that finger someplace there most certainly had to have been some laws broken somplace that she could be charged with.

The "perp" didn't do their homework. Wendy's chili does not come out of a can. Chili Seasoning + water + burgers that were cooked and not sold in the proper time limit. That would seem to limit the exposure or introduction of a finger either by an employee or the customer.

The problem with the 100K is that the person or persons responsible for providing the finger cannot easily come forward due to risk of prosecution.

They may be charged with the same fraud.

The other scenario it that the finger came from a dead person. Now the cohorts certainly can't say anything.

So, the 100K bait is largely moot, unless a third party, completely innocent, drops a dime.

It was during a hard time that two men came across the house of a wealthy lady. One of the men approached the front door and knocked. When the lady answered the man asked if there was anything he and his friend could do to earn some money. The lady responded that that there was a lot of wood in the back that needed to be chopped and stacked. The men agreed to do the work and she pointed out where they could find tools for the job.

The lady returned to the house to talk with an associate. The lady and the associate were trying to find folks for a talent show. About 5 minutes later the lady looked out the back windows to see one of the men that had just started working on the lumber. The man was jumping, spinning and doing flips. The lady was astonished. She said that would be perfect for our show! The lady hurriedly went around the back of the house and asked the men how much they wanted to repeat that performance for their talent show. One man turned to the other, who was still leaping and spinning, and ask his friend: “Ben, how much money do you want to cut off another finger?”

It's probably too cooked to get a print off of it and probably denatured so there's no chance for DNA.

They did... it yielded no results. They're also doing a DNA match to see if they have any records.

I stand corrected. :D

Yup

This lady Aylaya (sp) has got scam artist rubber stamped in red on her forehead. The dreaded liberal rag, the S.F. Chronicle (it actually is reactionary, pretending to be liberal which they have to do in S.F. -- their only full time editorial page columnist is Debra Saunders) has an open forum piece today describing how easy it is to bribe crematorium workers for a body part. The corpse will soon be ashes, whose to know?

You might be able to find it at www.sfgate.com

Whassup wingers?

Hatterasguy 04-18-2005 03:20 PM

Sounds like she stuck the finger in their to try and get money out of Wendy's. Wendy's suspects this and Ayala is a afraid they will come down hard on her and ruin her.

boneheaddoctor 04-18-2005 03:48 PM

Where did she get the finger............its not like you can just pick one up at the 7-11? She has to have broken some laws acquiring that finger.

waybomb 04-18-2005 03:56 PM

She's going to jail for something, unless Wendy's caves in to some special interest group and lets her slide. I bet this whole thing cost Wendy's millions already. I hope Wendy's makes an example of her.

Hatterasguy 04-19-2005 10:53 AM

Is it illegal to pay a drug addicted bum $1k for a finger? The bum is happy because they can get a few highs and then she would have a finger.
