Maybe you might want to say which dealership. Maybe post a link as to when they were shut down for three weeks.

I'd sure like to know which one you're talking about. I'm not that likely to use it, but I might know someone who is.

heres what they have so far

Heres what they have so far. Keep an eye on Nine News. they are doing a story every night all week long.
I believe it was Don Massy that was shut down before...

(from www.9news.com )
The state dealer board voted Thursday morning to launch an investigation into allegations of "Fraud and or Deception" at Don Massey Dealership in Littleton and Phil Long Ford Dealership in Denver.

The board voted 5 - 2 to allow its investigators to subpoena documents from banks and credit unions that work with Don Massey. They will be searching for documents that show the dealership either altered loan applications or did not fully disclose to customers that their car payments include extras such as insurance and warranties.

The board will be investigating similar allegations at Phil Long Ford.

Sonic Automotive Group, the nationwide company that owns Don Massey Pontiac, Buick and GMC issued a statement Thursday.

"Our company's highest priority is the fair and ethical treatment of every customer in every transaction," the statement said. "We have not been contacted by any regulatory agency in Colorado regarding any pending or possible investigations and therefore we cannot comment at this time."

9NEWS has requested on camera interviews with Don Massey and Sonic Automotive Group. However they have said they would not respond to allegations of possible wrongdoing unless 9NEWS reveals its sources.

9NEWS has no intention of doing so.

A representative from Phil Long Ford said he cannot comment on an investigation he is not aware of.

The state dealer board has had a stack of complaints about the Don Massey Dealership for over a year, but did not launch its investigation until 9NEWS began investigating the complaints.

Anyone with information about these allegations or who has had problems with the dealerships involved may contact 9NEWS by sending an email to investigations@9news.com.

I'm not surprised. I guess you really didn't need to expound. We know the majority of them are crooks.

But as they say, "A fool and his money are bound to part".

If you buy from these jackals you deserve what you get.

To the best of my knowledge Massey was never shut down for three weeks. The longest I have heard of was Christopher Dodge got shut down for three days.

What cracks me up was the dealer board voted 5-2 to investigate. I don't know the breakdown of the vote but the dealer board is made up of 9 people. Three large dealership reps, three small dealership reps, and three people that know car dealers. Meaning two people abstained. So it was really a 5-4 vote to investigate whether they are forging credit apps and book out sheets. Four people said it wasn't important. Unreal.
