Looks like a hood ride to me.

Leave the old MBs alone.

Dude,
if you like it normally its done with black spray paint. Clean the lens off as best you can, mask off the parts you dont want black (masking tape =) works great...you can razor cut it straight or curved as you like...). Then just blast the rest of it with black stuff.

This is not an easily reversed-process though, paint thinner might cloud or mess up the plastic surface if you try to remove the paint. Sanding will do the same. Just be careful or buy some turn signals from the junkyard to experiment on =)

Hope this helps.

Where was that picture taken? HB? or a Santa Monica parking lot? I have never seen it before and would have remembered.

Picture was taken at some Fountain Valley strip mall parking lot.

It's not something I'd do myself, but painting the signal lens and leaving strips of orange was something I haven't seen before.

perhaps the star on those chrome front license plates with the big mb star will work....

Those rims are old school. they used to be the rim to have on a benz back in the day....

Good ol centras...

My mom had them on her 560SEL, back then 16" was considered very large....
