I have to say this is a total waste of our tax dollars even having our elected officials discussing this.



Does this only affect flags that are the property of the US Gov't?
Can I buy a flag and put a big red or black X over it and display it on my home flag pole as a protest to gov't actions?
What does this due to an artist's representation of the flag?
Does it only pertain to the burning of the flag?
What about an old flag w/ 48 stars?
What if I make my own flag with a couple of more stars than we have states and burn that?

I have no desire to burn a flag at this time, nor have I ever.
I do respect the current right to do so.

Assuming for the moment this gets through, could someone point me to a link that has the text of this proposed waste of time they voted on?

I believe there are guidelines given to soldiers in charge of Gitmo residents re: handling of the Koran, but they don't have anything to do with how I may or may not use it's pages.

Try Burning a koran in public in a lefty state and they will charge you with a hate crime...but they think nothing of burning the flag.

I second that BHD you could webcast it and make millions, I don't think you would have the protection of NOI in prison though. :(

I wonder how some of these lefties who demanded soldiers who did not handle the koran to the lunatic demands they have can justify that and calling for their punishment and being kicked out of the service when they scream seperation of church and state demanding there be no reference to christmas in schools.
