C220 Keep or Sell?
Hello,
I recently inherited a 1995 C220 with 179,000 miles on it. I am not mechanically inclined at all. Can't even change my own oil. So, I don't want to dump a ton of money into this car. So, should I keep this car? Will it go many more miles for me without many headaches? Or, should I sell it for what I can and look for something newer? thanks, paul P.S. The car seems to be in great shape, and I know the previous owner was fanatical about maintenance. Still, 179,000 miles seems like a lot. |

If the car cost you nothing to begin with, it seems you would be ahead about $5,000 (?) from the outset.
The car is a 4 cylinder C class, how hard could it be to fix? I would keep the car and do what Tkamiya advised.
