Might be taking a long trip.....
I might be flying back to pick up my car..
I purchased a 1990 560SEC on Ebay. It is located in Indidana, and I am in Southern California. The transport companies are so slow to get you a truck, and I am on vacation right now, I thought I might fly back to South Bend, Indiana and drive the car out to Los Angeles, California. The route I have been looking at is taking I-80 West to I-76 West to I-70 West. This will take me through the following states: Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and of course....California. It's around 2100 miles. Has anyone taken this route lately ? Anything interesting to see, or anything I should be aware of ? thanks, Kevin kevinrea@adelphia.net |

I believe one of our members Plantman (or someone else?) drove across country two years ago. He moved from the right coast to the left, don't think he took the route you mentioned.
I would love to drive across country one day. Yeah, one of these days

Right now I-80 is down to one lane in Chicago. Expect 2 hour delays during the day, any day.
