The story is that the dog survived with the aid of a vet, a lot of stitches, antibiotics and pain meds. The dogs tongue was so thick with quills that it couldn't shut its mouth.

I wonder if the dog learned not to mess with porcupines? I am surprised that the dog's eyes aren't hurt.

You wonder what the mechanism is inside the body of the porcupine that can eject a quill with such velocity. And, not just a single quill. He probably unloaded about 100 of them instantaneously.

Actually he doesn't look too much different than some of today's punks with their body piercings. All he needs are a few tatoos.

Poor dog... with all those quills you can't tell that what breed that dog is. ( I know its a pitt-bull). That dog must have had some serious swelling when the quills were finally removed.
