over the last day. We have installed something called a router with a wireless connection to another desktop. This was a big step forward for this household seeing as I have had a single connection coming into one computer since about 1989. It took me about a day to get the existing computer and the new wireless computer set up where they would connect and get on the internet. I had to make quite a few calls to India and who knows where else. Aren't ya'll always glad when you get someone on the line that you can clearly understand?

For the overall job I believe I had rather have to pull an engine/tranny than do this type work. It just takes me forever to do a project like this with the computer. Thankfully, I do swap off some auto work with an acquaintance that knows computers if it won't run at all.

I went through the process of setting up security but how do I know if it is working or not? I am running McAfee on the desktop I typically post from and the wireless desktop is running Norton anti virus software.

The new wireless desktop was just recently purchased to play games with. I have been impressed with the way you can play among other players in the Battlefield II game although I will note that I have not personally played it. I have just watched the youngest play it. Are there any other games out there that are noteworthy?

There are a lot of good first person shooters game..namely war games such as the Call of Duty series..and Battlefield 1942 series..
You also can't go wrong with sports games such as the Madden series by EA Sports. Almost any sports game by EA Sports is top of the line.

anything in the Rainbow Six series is good, Ghost Recon is my personal favorite. I don't think anything compares to the new Battlefield.

I received a complimentary copy of XBOX's Blackhawk Down but haven't had the time to try it out, but I heard its good.
