Men,
Next to sportscars and opera, woman are my favourite pastime diversions. But although I enjoy their company very much, there are a couple of things about these creatures that I simply cannot figure out, and one of them is their obsession with ...shoes. I deliberately use the word 'obsession' because in my experience that exactly what it is. Perhaps you've noticed it aswell. No other garment brings out such strong emotions like shoes, and I simply cannot figure out what it is exactly that makes them behave that way. For instance, the other day I made this comment to a girlfriend about the fact that she had more than fifty (!) pairs: she almost freaked out. Another friend regularly comes back from shopping with at least 6 boxes new shoes. I know Freud has this theory about woman and shoes, but I think his' is a bit farfetched.

Any help?

My wife once bought 6 pairs of the same shoes indifferent colors....WTF? I asked, she repleird" they were on sale silly!"

Let women have their shoes...that way they can't have anything to say when us men spend absurd amounts of cash on a 25 year old car

It's a subconscious rebelion against the old barefoot-pregnantism policy towards women.

Funny post - just returning from Tampa where my wife and daughter came down prior to the weekend. They had one medium size suitcase with nothing but shoes in it

Must have been 30 pairs for their 3 day visit.

So women who own many pairs of shoes are trying to NOT be barefoot AND Pregnant? IOW, if they have that mentality they will not get want to get pregnant? That means if I date a woman with multiple pairs of shoes, she will try her darndest not to get pregnant? Sweet.

In reality, Imelda Marcos's legendary fetish for shoes merely "outed" the rest of the female population!

And it starts early...my daughter has a massive collection as well...like 30 pairs of sneakers and thirty pairs of flip flops! And six pairs of soccer shoes!!! ("dahling" you can't wear white cleats after Labor Day?")

I see them all the time and they really look disgusting. Some women with ugly bony feet with sandles really turn me off

, particularly the ones with huge bunions!

unfortunately its subconscious... and in order not to be 'barefoot and pregnant' she only needs to put on one of those many many available pairs...
