airbag deploy speed ?
On newer honda's-accord imparticuler, approximately how fast would one have to be going for its airbags to go off from rear-ending someone.

Go to www.ntsb.gov .
There are many factors that affect deployment that include speed, gear position, if the brakes are pressed and many others. I could be 7mph and it could be 15mph. |

Airbag deployment is based on accelerometer sensor input. Bottom line is what matters is not how fast you are going, but how fast you stop. Here is an article with some other examples.
