Just when you hoped things might settle a bit...

Wonder if something such as this could be the precursor to the big shaker that’s supposedly loooong over due….

BEND, Ore. (AP) -- A recent survey of a bulge that covers about 100 square miles near the South Sister indicates the area is still growing, suggesting it could be another volcano in the making or a major shift of molten rock under the center of the Cascade Range.

Recent eruptions at nearby Mount St. Helens in Washington state have rekindled interest in the annual Sisters survey and its findings.

Oregon has four of the 18 most active volcanoes in the nation -- Mount Hood, Crater Lake, Newberry and South Sister. A recent U.S. Geological Survey report said monitoring is inadequate at all of them, with only basic monitoring at about half of the active volcanoes.

The natural disasters are starting to come, just as predicted...

The end is near, judgement day grows ever closer.

Repent.

Accept the word of God and thou shall be saved.

"This message is hidden because boneheaddoctor is on your ignore list."

I can see from your quick response that you've returned to your busy life style, and are back to making an endless series of mindless comments that would be interesting to, well, not many. Now careful, and be sure and watch out so you don't continue to smack yourself on the ragged bottom of all those frighteningly shallow waters you love so.

Thanks for sharing. The urgency and scope and horror comes through far clearer from the description of members here than the news media stuff I've read. I don’t know where you are relative to NOLA and don’t mean to pry, but how wide spread is the damage?

I'd volunteer my server but it is off line for the moment. I hope have it back up early next week.
