Two questions about women.

A) What percentage of women (married or dating "exclusively") do you think cheat? (sex, phone sex, cybersex, oral, etc. - any type of "intimate" scenario)

B) Have you been cheated on while in a commited (married or dating "exclusively") relationship? Care to tell more about it?

Look forward to seeing where this goes.

Pete

Been cheated on in one relationship, to the best of my knowledge, and I did the right thing by getting pissed and screwing twins on a cruise ship, but I also did the wrong thing by staying with her afterward. She never knew I knew she cheated on me and she never knew about my cheating on her in revenge. I think a lot of women cheat on their husbands, I found one the other night for God's sake! Crazy. I am never getting married.

davis, etc. If possible give percentages (please). Would you say that 90% or 40% cheat... etc.

Thanks,

Pete

(a) I'll guess 50% cheat at some point in a 'committed' relationship.

(b) I haven't been cheated on since high school (that I am aware of), if it is even possible to be cheated on in high school. It helps to know who you're dating before jumping in with both feet.

I'm going to add a little more it...

Do you think certain people attract certain people. For example, do you think a certain personality attracts women who cheat, etc.? Or is that luck-of-the-draw?

I think certain type people have a predisposition to be drawn towards a certain type person...adn that type person may be more inclined to cheat...

I'm not sure if this is the direction you are trying to lead me but I'll take a stab at it. The thing that puzzles me is that some of the most beautiful and intelligent women fall for slobs whose sole goal in life is to abuse them. I can't stand it when some idiot beats on a woman.

Purely subjective, but I'll take a stab:

I think far fewer people cheat than most "polls" would suggest.

More men cheat than women, but it's in our genes to try to try to have as many offsrping as possible. Not so for women.

So I'd say

men: 30%
women: 10%

I've never cheated on anyone I was in a commited realationship with and haven't been cheated on by anyone-- I hope!!

So I'd say

within this context your numbers sound illogical to me. Why "not so for women"? You think the cheating gene/s are located on the Y which women lack? I doubt it, therefore (and without referring to surveys) my assumption is:

women - 99%
men - 99%

The remaining two percent somehow manage to "cheat nature". Marriage is a human invention and long term releationships are rare in nature. Man is not meant to be in long term relationships.

Um. Yeah... you said it very well. Based on my last two years of dating (was in an LTR that just got boring prior to that) I have come to the conclusion that the main reason I can't get a girlfriend is that I'm just not enough of a *****head.

Sounds arrogant, and i mean it in jest (mostly). But really- taken objectively, shouldn't a fella with a decent paying job he enjoys,a bachelor's degree, a house in the historic district, and a Benz be occasionally be seen as the wiser choice than some biker/tweaker/gangsta/just plain slacker?

I guess I'm attracted to the wrong kind of girl, but I used to fare pretty well back when I didn't have much going for me... now I'm beginning to think that in the battle of the sexes, the biggest idiot wins. Granted, according to the theory of evolution, this means we're going to go extinct, but hey...

BTw I figure that about 40% of women cheat and I've personally only had to deal with 1 when seriously involved.

(Oh, and that one? She hooked up with a washed up ex-pro athlete, now unemployed, who shot himself in the head successfully after getting her pregnant. See what I mean?)

I can certainly relate. I can add all of the above and, additionally add the profession of "engineer". I also wear glasses. You should see 'em run in the other direction. Not interested in serious meaningful conversation by a "stable" individual.........need the excitement of the spontaneous, cocky, funny man, who just happens to be unemployed..........again. Women need to be entertained.........I'm not in that profession.
