It works....only if the drivers aren't yacking on cell phones or engrossed watching porn on their DVD players......but we all know 90% of drivers here seem to be doing one or the other.....and precious few actually pay attention to driving.

I seem to remember a multi roundabout with contra rotating traffic at the bottom of the hill going to Watford/Stevenage/Aylsbury, about 4 miles off the M1 at Hemel Hempstead.

I say old chap...dashed confusing...what ?

I'm visiting family in OlyWA and they put in a roundabout here that was controversial at first but I think people are coming around to liking it. Works for me.

Did you intend the pun?

That's just a collection of mini roundabouts- they're evil. Unlike full-sized roundabouts people seem to completely forget what the rules are when they get to them and it's pot luck to who goes first. Luckily I've not had the pleasure of negotiating the 'magic roundabout'.

The Magic Roundabout by the way was a children's cartoon series here. :)
