Cheerleaders!

Ha, made you look:

As I suspected, they're not so nice looking without the warpaint. Interesting bathroom activity, though.

Makeup or not, photo shoot pics are done under carefully lighted situations...mug shot lighting is probably the least flattering (like driver's license pics).

Amazing what makeup will do. Saw a Tyra Banks article in a mag that showed her face "before" and "after" makeup...looked like a crack addict in the "before" pic!

Absolutely, photo shoots have usually 2-3 diffuse flash lamps surrounded by umbrellas which creates much softer skin tones than a DMV camera will . Even after the pictures are taken the real beauty comes out with the photo airbrushing afterwards. The guys at work showed me quite a few before and after photos which were still believeable in terms of submitting headshots and I was impressed by their work!

Oh man, there's a name crying out to be changed.

On the cheerleaders, I imagine part of the dismal change in physiognomy from the mug shot to the promo shot might be due to being a tad bummed out at having likely derailed their budding young careers in the up and coming booty shaking industry. Though I'm sure makeup had a little to do with it.

If you have a jones for Women In Prison movies go rent Roger Corman's The Big Doll House, 1971.

It has everything.
