Bluegrass music fans.....

I,m sitting behind my PC and while gracing the pages of mecedesshop, I listen to BlueGrass music.............

I wonder if there are others who like me find BlueGrass music in their souls as much as I do?

I bought a Harmon Kardon, yes, they make the only MB compatible FM-CD radio (Becker) one-in-the-same, for, at least my 124, radio and it could be better, but all the buttons and knobs match!

Back to Bluegrass, anyone here also a fanatic?

God knows, but I have followed, am a faithful follower!

My favorites were John Duffy, with the Seldom Scene, Country Gentlemen..I used to watch them live every Thursday night at the Birchmere, in Alexandria, Virginia, while I lived and worked in Severna Park, Maryland, back in the early eighties.............

I've heard of the Dillards, but haven't seen them....

Have you been to any festivals out there in the west? Used to be there was a festival in Colorado......I attended a bluegrass festival in Mountain View, Arkansas in 1974.

Howdy BB,
I'm a casual listener and never been to a Bluegrass event. I think the Dillards have done something in the last 10 years but they were big back in the 60's.

He and his band are awesome. Saw them live once and victor was playing flight of the bumblebee on his bass, he did a backflip and never missed a beat. A few songs later Bela Fleck came over face to face with Vic and every other note, to start, he would reach over and play a note on vics bass. Likewise Vic with Bela Fleck's banjo. Eventually they ended the song with both guys playing each others instruments - too cool for words.

Being a native Kentuckian, The Bluegrass State, it's in my blood.

Feeling better today BB?

Hey Frank, you ever go to the bluegrass festival in Randsburg? I think it was 21 Sep this year. I missed it since I was on travel.

I really like Bill Monroe and the old, appalachian kind of bluegrass. it's kind of new to me so not really too set on the artists..
