SF Bans Handguns...

http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/story?section=e...ions&id=3618406

San Fran bans handgun ownership. It works so well in DC and Chicago, might as well follow suit. Criminals are lining up around the block to turn in their hand guns because we all know criminals don't like to break the law.

Luckily, the CA Supreme Court will probably over rule this as it is in direct violation of CA State Law.

There are people who insist that the 2nd amendment is an outdated provision,
because individuals no longer have any need for guns.

I wonder if any of them were in the Gulf Coast area after Katrina?

I think if you wanted to protect your family or property from the roaming gangs,
you were pretty much on your own?

In this age of terror, other 'disasters' are possible...
and I don't think we have a lot of confidence in the ability of the government,
to provide fast solutions to future problems.

There were a lot of girls raped in New Orleans... even in the so called 'shelters'.
Seems like a gun is a good thing to have, if you plan on protecting your womenfolk?

I love the crowd that says the 2nd amendment no longer applies since the founders never conceived of modern weapons. Ask them if by using that logic the first amendment no longer applies either since the founders never thought about radio/TV/internet.....

#23 is right out of the National Republican Association's playbook.
"We don't need more unconstitutional laws, we need strict enforcement of the unconstitutional laws we already have"

May I suggest:

23. Repeal the "gun control laws" we have, don't make more.
