Any software guru can help me out on this?
What is an "event system" in software architectures?
My answer is : An event system is the high-level structure of a software system, comprising software components and the relationships among them. A good architectural event system description includes various views of the architecture, principles directing component designs and evolution, and documentation of assumption and rationale behind architectural choices linked to functional requirements and system qualities. Can anyone correct me if I am wrong on my answer? While you are at it, what is the preferred package format for: Solaris Linux FreeBSD Windows Thanks for the help.

Like package, do you mean the version?
For windoze, use XP with SP2, as it is probibally the most "user friendly" version there is. I dislike Solaris, Linus, and BSD, so I dont know at this time what is good.
