Anyone know when Play Station 3 is due out?

Anyone in the know? I want to upgrade my N64 but am in no rush.

I was wondering if PS3 is due out in another year or so, if so I'd prefer not to buy PS2.

Some of the new stuff for PS2 is pretty cool, so PS3 graphics and games should be amazing!

It will be out around spring of 2006... or so I've heard. Xbox360 will have an early jump on it, obviously.
