560 Sel????
Got a 1987 500 SEL, 220,000 miles, runs great, looks good, not burning any oil, no leaks! Live in Shreveport LA.
Anyone give me an idea as to how much to sell it for roughly?? Any help is appreciated. Thanks In Advance John1 |

$4k to $6k depending on condition. That's what they seem to sell for around here. Really cherry examples more of course, but gotta be really nice. Rust buckets real cheap. I had a beautiful one with 350,499 miles on it in top condition, but a little girl ran a light and totaled it on me. At that time, I think the insurance co paid out 6700-7200, somewhere in there. BTW, if it has the aluminum rear "A" arms...those things cost over $2k each from MB! You don't even want to think about an aluminum hood.

Other things play into that factor - such as - does it have rust? Has it been flooded? modified? All electrical items in proper working order? Vibrations? Records? Timing chain rattles (is up to date)? Also depends on where the car is sold. In some areas, you cannot even give these cars away, elsewhere, they still command a premium.
I would say $2500-$3500 if all is well with it.
