Ever watch the program? I always discuss with the wife about getting me on the show. (just dreaming of course)
What would you want done? Me: New paint (stock colors) New interior (factory original) Maybe white face gauges Killer stereo (nothing fancy looking) Lowering kit Tinted windows Remote entry/alarm Motor and trans rebuild of course Bigger turbo WVO system Propane injection

Hmmm...
I think my wagon would look killer with a lower stance, tinted windows, Mercedes AMG rims, rebuilt motor, nice sounding stereo, and an AMG body kit. Oh yeah, I can see it now. It would look good. Something like this:

Overhaulin is at least higher quality work than "Pimp my Ride".
I still couldn't believe when they cut the roof off that '66 T-Bird. The owner was very happy with the car, but I'd call that vandalism. Um, hello... roofless wonder??? My friends and I used to joke about getting one of my cars on Pimp My Ride. The editing needed after they screw up my car would be quite a task. Cut to me viewing the aquarium they installed in my 126 "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

I'd just want them to do a complete restore.
Oh and drop one of those 500hp intercooled 606's in, with a bunch of AMG suspension work.  They would never do a MB on one of those shows though. Pimp My Ride should not be allowed to touch a MB, if the rapper guy came to my door I would be like "so do you have to pimp my car? Can you do my moms?"

I wish they would do imports....
Our biggest problem is the import stigma...we won't get out cars on Overhaulin due to that alone, and its a real shame because there's some really nice import projects that can be had.
As to Pimp my ride, they're low class, hip-hop meets Earl Shybe $50 paint jobs...but they'll do an import no prob
