Awesome. Ya got that right.

Awesome rides. I’d love the chance to take a ride in either.
Not sure which I’d pick if I could only do one. Probably the car.
Thanks for the video.

When the lottery was at 355 million I crunched the numbers for a C-130 or C-17 and fuel. It only worked if I went cheap on the in flight meals.

I was single, the idea was Suburban and Boat with a samll bedroom and fly around hunting and fishing. too bad it didn't work out it would have been fun

The menu selection when I was riding on C-130 was MRE back when they were dry and nasty, our newbie was in charge of bringing water jugs, he did but out of the wrong water buffalo(non potable). Imagine 35 pissed off Army Rangers with a serious case of the chits on a looooonnnnngggg flight, the toilet could not handle the load and things got real ugly. A blanket party followed.

Wow. Hunting and fishing from a C-130 !! Now that’s dreaming the way dreaming should be.

I think the C-130 aspect would have taken a big Lotto win to make it come true though. That’s a whole lot-o-airplane to be traveling around in. Too limiting on the destination airports, not to mention fuel consumption.
How about a C-123? Still a big tank, but perhaps more manageable. Regardless - Keep dreaming. That’s how they come true.

A buddy of mine made the dream come true. He’s out in Tucson with one hell of an HU-16. Even has 2 SeaDoos that drop from wing pods. We’ve had some fun in this dream machine, that’s for sure. Havent been out to see/fly with him for a while now. He and the wife got AIDS (Aviation Induced Divorce Syndrome) a few years back. Sad.

------ Man this thing was a blast -----

A new basic C-130 would cost around 15 Million to a civilian not including the construction of the bachelors quarters. I envisioned a Suburban and a Boston Whaler/Mako/Pursuit which would be versatile for almost any kind of fishing. I think at the time flight cost was $40,000 an hour + crew.

The c-130 can land on short grass strips almost anywhere that is why I choose it, but maybe the 123 would be a better choice.

Wouldn't it be a blast to fly around with a rig like that shootin critters and catching fish?
