Are there any Mercedes Benz Club members here who are also planning on doing the Route 66 Tour (from Chicago to Santa Monica and then on to the Benz Classics Center)?

I don't have time to do the entire tour, but I was planing on catching up wiht them either in Santa Fe, NM or in Williams, Az. Sounds like a fun trip, a nice time to get on the road (September weather may still be a little warm in the Southwest segment of the trip). It also sounds like a nice way to meet other Benz owners and to see what their cars look like.

If I end up taking the trip I will use my 1989 300TE. The E320 is probably more comfortable, but I want to stretch the 300TE's legs a little bit.
